My PC won't Boot Up

Go to solution Solved by Eckdayz,

What did the blue screen say? Also, have you tried to delete the current partiton and re-create it when installing th os? This might solve ur probs.

I solved the problem by removing my SSD and installing Windows 8 on a completely new HDD. I know the performance won't match the SSD but it works. I might wipe out the SSD in the future and and install the OS on the SSD rather than the HDD.

Thanks for the help @Chiller252

My PC won't boot up to Windows 8. All I see is a blue screen, I have checked if the cables were loose or detached on my SSD and my HDD but everything was intact. This has happened before and I ended up restoring everything by using the Windows 8 CD. I tired using the same method but an error comes up saying that I need a partition. I have also tired restoring all settings to default but an error comes up saying you need to unlock the drive where Windows is installed

More Info:

- My Windows 8 is installed on a Kingston HyperX 240 SSD.

- This has happened to me when my screen froze and I had to restart.

When I try to restore the entire system back to factory settings it says that a required  drive partition is missing.
