I have been using the Deathadder for a while (2013 since release, and a previous version for multipe years), and I would always recommend trying it out.  What I would really suggest, though, is going to a store that has multiple on display and seeing which one feels the best in your hand.  It is hard to give suggestions on so little info.

Definitely try out several different types of mice to see what configuration you prefer. Also try and figure out if your a claw or palm grip if you don't already know. I personally use the Deathadder because I liked how it fit in my hands and I don't use claw.
