I've never heard of this. I've learned through experience that overclocking ram is very difficult.

and why try to push the limits of a web-browsing pc?

well i'm not trying to push it but its just going to bug me that's all as for ram ocing its a struggle but worth it with an apu, ill still take your into consideration but honestly anything at this price point will work :|

If he is not gaming an apu is not worth it, still this with thus build you can add any GPU and it would become a sweet gaming PC if he needs in the future.

You might consider an APU build. Doesn't have a huge amount of storage, but the ssd should make browsing a treat.

with some bios updates you can and i have heard that this motherboard supports it. as far as the apu even the older 2 cores cost more then the pentium 

Ok but i would save money and get a cheaper mobo
