Twitch Stream settings

I am having some trouble getting my twitch stream settings just right. I have a 5 mbps upload speed, my in game res is 2560x1440, my cpu is an i53570k, and my gpu is evga 780ti. I want a descent quality stream but i am not 100% sure what exact settings i need. Any help appreciated.

whats are stream from pc,ps3,ect?

if console watch device are you using?
what streaming software are you using?

Using Open Broadcaster Service, downscale your resolution to something closer to 1080p, limit frame-rate to 30, and keep the bit-rate between 3&4Mbps. There are some other settings to tweak, but those are the big ones.
