SLI and Crossfire

My first Question is, is it possible use the same Graphics Card ( Gtx 780) and for SLI too an gtx 780 but from another brand like first one Evga second one Asus?

When you Oc it, do you have to Oc both cards each other or is it whit one time both OC?

When you Update, do you have to install the driver on both or just one time?

All Questions are about Amd Graphics Cards and Nvidia Graphics Card.

They can be different brands, they just need to be the same type and have the same amount of memory(Nvidia cards only). You need to OC both cards. You just need to install the drivers once and it applys to both cards

Cards need to have the same name (you can mix some AMD cards (eg; you could crossfire a 7970 with 7950), but don't), different brands work together, vRAM capacities need not match but the amount that's usable will equal the lower of the two cards & best keep memory & GPU clock speeds the same.

As long as they have the same GPU it should work, doesn't matter if they are different brands.

You need to OC them both at the same speeds.

Only 1 driver is required, you have to enable Crossfire / SLI on the driver, otherwise it will not activate.
