Help for OneDrive

nixnixnixnt

Hello everyone. To start ... I had until recently Windows 8.1 with all updates etc. I was thrilled with OS, integrated OneDrive and all that. But, however, due to the problems with drivers, always after a clean installation of the OS after about a month all these errors starrted popping up, to the extent that the OS was unusable, because it’s a older laptop, there's not all the drivers for all devices for Windows 8.1. So I went back to the 7 and of course, since I very often use OneDrive, I installed the appropriate application for it. Service Pack 1 , all updates installed. But here start the problems. In 8.1 OneDrive in Explorer worked so it just SHOWED all the files, all the folders and, if necessary, removed from the HDD if the file wasn’t used for a long time, I liked that... The point of Cloud Storage is that you do not have to have the files locally, and since it’s mostly pictures and documents, it is not a problem for me to wait a couple of seconds to download a file when I click on it.

Windows 7 works this way:
"Choose which folders to synchronize" I chose everything, thinking it works the same way as in 8.1 ... But started to download everything locally, on my Hard Disk ... Then I stopped and picked "Synchronize nothing" Thinking that it will only index it all locally, but actually fetch files when needed. No, the OneDrive folder in Explorer is empty. My question is how to make it work just like in Windows 8.1
PS
I searched all OneDrive settings in the application, there is nothing that could be associated with this problem. Thanks in advance
