running a pc with no case

So yea i ordered some parts the other day and i want to know if i can run the pc with no until the case arrives which will be 1 - 2 weeks after the main parts arrive

i5 4690k

asus z97i

8gb of something something ram

and a cooler master 1200w 80+ gold

 

can i run this shit with no case like on a motherboard  box or something till i get the case?

Yes. It will definitely heat up the room though more than it would with a case.

I ran my system on a motherboard box for 3 days and and had no problems when moving it to a case. It'll still be fine after 1-2 weeks.

Side panels are essential for a PC to work. I wouldn't try it.

Should be fine for gaming and stuff, just don't run Prime95 all day long, not really sure if the box can handle that much.
