My system specs are in my signature, I run this system with 3x 1080p monitors for now. I have my center display plugged directly into my main video card and run the other two monitors off my CPU, plugged into the motherboard. I did this to stop the flickering that happens whenever I go fullscreen with a game. I did however notice that my physics score dropped in 3DMark, lowering my overall score. I know that benchmarking isn't everything but was curious what the best way to power the other two monitors would be. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just deal with the minimal time it flickers then stops.

I was going to do that but was curious if running the other two would then impede on my FPS.

how did you do that.... i would love to do that, because then i could run my secondary screens (like you) off my mobo and my new 1080p one off of my gpu.

You have to re-enable it in the bios, it gets turned off once your system recognizes a GPU plugged into the PCI slot.

so then i can totally run both at once with monitors plugged into each? this is awesome, i wont need a new gpu when i get my thrid monitor. what is the option called? and when it is enabled, can i like drag a window across all the screens? like i could with a normal set up?

Yep, as long as your CPU/Motherboard support multiple monitors. Not sure what the option would be called for your board though. Look in your bios around chipset or advanced settings.

You'll loose .2fps with all connections max. It's not noticeable

Thanks, I just figured with it powering the extra monitors it would be stressing main one more. I'll switch them back tonight.

my mobo has; VGA, DVI, and HDMI out

GPU has: DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI, and DP

Like I said it should work, take a look in your bios. I'm not too familiar with AMD, from a quick google search it should work fine though.
