Should I buy a Nvidia Shield portable now?

I have been wanting to get the original shield for a while but after seeing leeked specs and patents etc, I decided to wait.

 

It now looks like this was just for the tablet and the controller.

 

It doesn't look like there is going to be a new Shield portable any time soon, unless I missed something, and the only way I would do the tablet - controller combo is if there was a way to attach the tablet onto the controller.

 

So as the title says, should I buy a Nvidia Shield portable now?

The price of the V1 will drop as the table finds it's own audience. So I suggest to wait a bit and see what happens.
