Does your MB light up? maybe a faulty PSU or MB.

What are your Specs?

Maybe try cleaning the CMOS and updating the BIOS.

Check everything is connected correctly.

Is your PSU modular etc? check they are correctly connected to the right bits.

Anyone?

lol, i don't think so

If you connected a 6pin cable to a 8pin connector you may have shorted the cpu.

Find the 4+4 pin cable and connect it to the 8pin connector located in the top of the mobo.

So i will take 2 4 pins and put them in the 4+4 am i right?

I'm glad to hear it works now :)

Usually, the 6(+2)pin cable is for PCI such gfx cards, and the 4+4 pin cable is for the CPU.

Good to know from now on so i will stop being a complete idiot with that connector cause it always..ALWAYS gets me ! :po
