Im doing a facelift on the main rig and switching to a Thermaltake Core V71 case.  Going to be putting all bitfenix spectre pro fans in (4 200mm 2 120mm 1 140mm), upgrading to a Powercolor PCS+ r9 290x.  With such a big case my CPU cable prolly wont fit from the PSU so was looking to get a nice looking extension then decided why not do that for well everything.  I see Bitfenix has a bunch of extension cables for everything from sata, 8 pin pcie, even 2 pin IO.  Can someone tell me what would be safe to use if any of there extensions?

I have a Thermaltake Black Widow W0319RU 850W PSU.  That is the name newegg had when I bought it early 2013.  The side of the PSU has this as the model number  -  TR2 RX-850AH3CH

This psu is semi modular.

Are there any risks of running cable extensions?  Should I run them only for certain things?  Can I only use thermaltake extensions?  Is it safe to use extensions since its just passing wire to wire whatever the pinout is?  Is there a risk of voltage drop?

Thats up to you, not from a technical aspect though.

Can I only use thermaltake extensions?

No as long as they are extentions and not a sleeved cable set specially for your psu you're fine.

Is it safe to use extensions since its just passing wire to wire whatever the pinout is?

Yes if you make sure they are connected correctly you're fine.

Is there a risk of voltage drop?

 No.
