My case fans are loud! At first it did not bother me all that much, But it's getting to me for some reason. My old i5 750's Motherboard was a MSI P55-GD65 and I could set the case fans seperate from the CPU fan. I could set the same case fans I use now at 50% on the old rig and the fans were very quiet. For some reason the only fan control available in the bios of my Z77 motherboard is only for the CPU fan. Why they would have plugs for extra fans and offer no speed control for them makes little sense to me. My i5 3470 runs much cooler than my older 750, So maybe I could remove one of the fans, But do any of you know of any software that may help? I tried speedfan but it only reads the CPU fan. So I am beginning to think no matter what software I try, I won't be able to control the case fans since there is no actual control feature in the bios for it. I hate to have to get new fans. These fans have worked well since 2009 when the i5 750 was brand new. LOL. My ears are ringing now.

You could also buy a Fan controler. Get one with 3 knobs/sliders and use y-splitters if you have more than 3 case fans.
