2 x 140mm front (intake) airflow optimised (all hdd cages removed)

1 x 120mm rear (exhaust) airflow optimised

2 x 140mm corsair h100i (confused.... Intake or exhaust?) static pressure?

As you can see I'm confused regarding the h100i fan setup

Also when plugging the 3 case fans into my mobo I'll be using all my 4 pin fan headers,I understand that there is one for a cpu cooler but as this is 2 fans in the h100i how does that work? Does the other use the CPU OPT fan header, whatever that is? Using the stock fans for now unless they're too noisy I will change them.

Also if you can recommend any pwm fans for my needs that would be great, been looking at Noctua and a few others. The quieter the better :)

I guess H100i is at top so it will be exhaust. You would need to calculate intake and exhaust CFMs to get most accurate setup. In my opinion you could easily remove rear fan completely but I would say 2x140mm vs 3x120mm is still more intake than exhaust.

I believe H100i comes with Y-splitter for fans. You connect pump into CPU_FAN header and fans to either pump or to CPU_OPT if you have it. You can also connect pump to some other fan header as manual seems to say. CPU_FAN and CPU_OPT run at same voltage.

2 x 140mm? The H100i is 2 x 120mm. Connect the pump on CPU_FAN. Top exhaust.

Noctua NF-F12's.

Went with the following

Intake 2 x NF A14 PWM = MAX = 82.5CFM * 2 = 165

Exhaust = NF S12A PWM = MAX = 62.21

Corsair h100i = 77CFM

So at fans all at Max I will have +25.79CFM

Most likely I won't be having all fans at max but I can adjust using Speedfan to find a good balance of noise and performance :) Along with corsair link for the h100i.
