Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

If you're just using it for video for youtube, it may be better to get a fixed lens camera rather than a DSLR/Mirrorless, as the fixed lens camera will generally offer a good lens for use in most circumstances, whereas getting a DSLR lens which covers a decent zoom range in a single lens may be difficult. Of course, if you're willing to experiment with different lenses and get the opportunity to upgrade and try different lenses in the future, then a DSLR may be a good choice, however personally I would recommend a fixed lens camera. Also note that on most DSLRs, the autofocus during video isn't that great.

The RX100 III is a good choice, or you could look at the Panasonic FZ1000 (still on pre-order). Do note that the FZ1000 is around $800-900, so may be out of your budget range. However, compared to the RX100 III, it has the same size 1" sensor, but offers a longer zoom range (25-400mm equiv - "16x zoom") and also 4K recording (100mbit) and 1080p recording at 120fps.

Both these cameras (RX100III and FZ1000) will also take great photos too.

I need more SSDs.

@Tocsin_786 I'd recommend the Canon Rebel T3 or T3i. You can also go for a Sony or Canon point-and-shoot camera too, they are pretty good point-and-shoots.

OP should look at the T3 or T3i, however it should be noted that AF on those cameras in video mode is pretty slow (plus the AF motor on the kit lens is loud). You could also take a look at some interchangeable lens mirrorless cameras like the Sony A5000 or Panasonic GH3.

I need more SSDs.

Use manual focus for video or prefocus where your going to be.

I started on a t3i for DSLRs. Its a bit dated now. Id probably go for the sl1 now personally for the smaller size and it doesn't loose much compared to the t5i.

Just go for the RX100 III, it has the nice XAVC-S video codec instead of AVCHD.

that is a extremely compelling camera. but they got rid of the hotshoe. i guess you win some and loose some. choice has been made im going with the rx100 and there are great bundle deals on amazon for it.
