There pretty good from what I've heard so you'd be fine getting a refurbished one

I just may do this, or just stick with getting a 770 for $380.

Thanks for replying though, it seems it's tough to get a reply on other sites especially Tom's Hardware.

Hoping for more replies though :D

Eh, I was considering that, but I wanna stick with Nvidia. I hear the AMD cards get super hot, even with the aftermarket coolers and I feel Nvidia would just be all around safer and more reliable.

And everyone says the Gigabyte coolers on AMD cards aren't that great, unless they really are.

Nvidia may have GSYNC AND SHADOWPLAY, but honestly, it's not worth the extra price

AMD aftermarket cards are fine. Just not the stock.

If you really dont like the gigabyte cooler, go for this

sapphile is amd's personal partner.

amd cards run only a tad hotter than similar performance nvidia...what you've heard are exagerations and fanboyism...as long as its not the reference cooler its just fine...btw you really dont want a 770 for 380$! that would be stupid move!
