PC won't start!?!

Well I built my friend's PC and I used my CX600 because I was gonna test my GPU and everything works but then when I went to put her PSU and her GPU in the motherboard gave me the standby LED and wouldn't turn on I tried jumping it manually and with the case button any help is MUCH appreciated!!

Are all the PSU cables connected correctly to the MB and the GPU?

Are you sure your connecting the Pins correctly to Jump start it?

be sure you plugged the correct PCIE cables and Motherboard CPU power cables in, they may look very similar and you could have switched them.

is the cpu power plugged in? I've boot up a pc twice with it unplugged and thought some of my parts were dead.

check if you have plugged in the 8 pin cpu power and not a PCI-E connector

Okay I got it to work for a while and then I was installing something and it called for a reboot and then my computer would show the loading bar and then the monitor went blank and wouldn't do anything and now it only works with the safe mode options

Now it's just giving me a black screen after every time I try and boot past the "Safe mode" options and the only thing on the screen is a mouse pointer and I'm able to move it around but I mean there's nothing just a blank screen

it could mean the system has failed to load the GPU drivers

 

can you run from the onboard display?
