I'm looking to build my first custom PC for gaming and video editing.

My budget is around $800 - $1000 Im in the US.

I made my own build here which is a bit expensive but looking for more option or things i can spend more money on now and don;t have to later or spend less money now and get something better later on.

So i would appreciate if you guys can help me choose some parts to my first build also it would be better if the parts are from Amazon. Thanks

Here current parts I've chosen so far but a bit expensive.

Take out that power supply first of all get a 750w or 850w upgrade the 660 to a 660ti get a razer deathadder instead that ram is overkill 16gbs of vengance 1600mhz or 8gbs will be more that a enough and wait for the new intel cpus get a ssd as well

Is the RAM too much? Really? I will be doing a lot of rendering videos and I thought i need alot. And they told me that the intel i5 3570k is good because you can easily overclock it.

Here's what I came up with:

http://gyazo.com/82369e1fec4426229dbb0179bdc7e09a

http://gyazo.com/118984c6097b329b59082d457cbba654

This should be a more balanced sub-$1000 system.

I think 12gb ram would be more fitting but what-the-hey--I have 16gb myself.
