hello my name is Matt and i just built a PC but i have been having problems with it can any one help?

Every time I watch youtube or play video games my computer freezes and makes a weird noise i don't know what to do. I have a msi a88x-g45 with an A-10 7700k and a xfx r7 260x with a evga 600b psu powering it all. Thanks for the help, Matt

What do you mean it freezes? Blue screen or does it just lock up and need to be reset? Are your video card connectors plugged all the way in? How about overclocks, did you do anything of that sort?

(Computer freezing? be romantic and give it your shirt :D)

 

I've had this problem before, it's most likely a software issue, what I did was that i reformatted my drive and reinstalled windows, (thats what I do with all of my computer problems to rule out software issues)

Hallo Matt.

what ram are you using? have you catch your latency?

sometimes mobo's can have some problems, with reading what the manufacture have set as standard, (and just sets it as high as CL11 etc.)

which could cause blue scream, lock up or lag.

and hey what are your temps, when it happens?
