Replacing standoffs

Go to solution Solved by Altecice,

yeah thats fine. you dont have to match every hole with a  standoff.

So the standoffs in NZXT H440 all matched up with Z97 Pro Motherboard.  One however didn't have a hole for a screw so I replaced it with one that did so all 9 holes in the motherboard match up with 9 standoffs with holes for screws.  That's okay or not okay?  I remember seeing and hearing that you have to be careful because you can short your motherboard one of these ways I think.  Thanks!!
