Already bored of being off school (wow I sound like a complete swat), and can anybody recommend any really interesting books about science or technology?

Thanks.

if you are really into technical stuff give "Transmission of power; polyphase system: tesla patents" a try, yeah it is a mouth full, but it was actually written by Tesla himself, is free on google play, and is interesting if a bit dry

Did you mean complete twat?

You might consider doing some math work for your next course out of the way now so that the load is easier on the future you. I'm currently doing this to lessen my struggle next semester.

or you can let future you deal with it

@George Hart  best books I have ever read: The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls, A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier by Ishmael Beah, The Book Thief by Markus Zusac, I'm Down by Mishna Wolf. Nothing to do with science or technology, but I think they are definitely worth reading.

I should be studying.

Edit - woops, just noticed you said "about science or technology" I guess ignore all this then ;)

I'm an all-fiction kind of guy:

Discworld Series by Terry Pratchett if you're into fantasy/humour
Dark Tower Series by Stephen King if you're into fantasy/epic

Foundation Series by Issac Asimov if you're into hard-core sci-fi

Enders Game and Enders Shadow Series's by Orson Scott Card if you're into light sci-fi
anything by Christopher Moore (start with Lamb) if you're into humour

JAM by Yahtzee is pretty fun
Good Omens by Pratchett and Gaimen is probably the single funniest book I've read, kind of Monty Python-ish
Ready Player One by Ernest Cline is something different, funny and cool
John Dies At The End & This Book Is Full Of Spiders by David Wong, sort of a mix of Stephen King and Douglas Addams

If you're into Graphic Novels:
Watchmen by Alan Moore
Maus by Spieglmen (sad though)
Batman Year One (Frank Miller)
Barman: The Dark Knight Returns (Frank Miller)

And these should go without saying, but just in case:

A Song Of Ice And Fire (aka Game Of Thrones)
Lord of The Rings Trilogy
Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy Trilogy In Three Parts

Twilight

Sparklin' vampire and werewolf biology is all the rage these days along with necro-living relations. OP might want to dabble in some BDSM "research" with Fifty Shades of Grey too.

Anyway, Brave New World and Atlas Shrugged involve some science and tech, I think, but it's not the main focus though. And there's always this.
