Considering the seidon 240m can be had for $55 right now, should I be considering anything else? (case: 350D)

note: i'm not a huge fan of the D15 due to its large size, and I have no intention of going with a custom loop as I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a cooling loop.

At that price probably not. $55 is a good deal for a top 5 AIO that normally goes for $80+, so at that price go for it. If you're weary about the potential disadvantages of an AIO: loud pump, fans, leaking, DOA's. A good air cooler (doesn't have to be a behemoth like that D15) say, the C14 or U14S from Noctua would serve you well too with less noise.

I just purchased the 240M for $56 and I freaking love it. I haven't gotten around to playing with it as much as I would like, but from what I've seen so far, I'm impressed. Add to the fact I only paid $56 for it and it's unbeatable. At high speeds, it does get really loud. The sweet spot for me is 1200rpm fan speed and 1000rpm pump speed. Very quiet and performs exceptionally well.

well, it's going to be replacing my stock cooler now that I'm probably just going to buy and keep a computer at college.

humming pumps are definitely the bane of AIO solutions. I bought a seidon out of curiousity, but quickly went back to air. everyone has their tolerence levels.

still $55 is a good deal for a 240.

Luckily for me I'm not a huge noise freak....I'm still using the stock cooler due to me being undecided about something....and, yes, its a bit noisy and annoyingly noisy at times (annoying pitch), but I don't really mind it...

For $55 get the 240M. If that deal is not available still, the 212 EVO is still extraordinary for $30. As far as noise goes, the 240M is definitely loud at 60% speed and above. I like mine at 1200rpm fans and 1000rpm pump and I can't hear either and I have an open side panel case.
