PLEASE HELP ME!

I am looking to connect my Verizon supplied ActionTek router/modem and make it into a bridge in order to just use it as a modem for my LInksys 3500. I have been on the phone with Verizon, ActionTek, and Linksys and it's only 10:00 AM. I really need to be able to do this because Actiontek is notorious for it's drop in connection because of it's small NAT table. PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO SET MY ROUTER IN BRIDGE MODE IN ORDER SO THAT I CAN USE MY LINKSYS ROUTER!!!

You could always check the manual, we use an old belkin Modem/router combo in bridge mode as out modem to our Asus Router. We just looked in the manual and there were step by step instructions.
