i recently built my first rig i got a asus gtx 770 for the video card, but i cant seem to be able to do duel monitors i am using the hdmi port and the other dvi ports the hdmi works fine but the dvi ports dont at all. i got an adapter for my vga monitor but is not picking up the vga monitor at all, and i know it works fine on its own. any ideas? i updated the drivers  but windows will not detect it:(

sorry not sure what those are i have tried both dvi ports with no success

He was asking if u plugging cables into GPU ONLY or you doing this:~

One cable into the GPU (that would be one monitor) other cable into the motherboard (second monitor)

O sorry ya they are both plugged in to the gpu i don't have onboard video
