Can't get into BIOS

Go to solution Solved by Nikolaj,

on the right you can press the option saying Marked Solved

Didn't know that cheers :P

Yo,

I just moved all my components into a new case, and I jumbled the SATA connection order. I planned on just enter the BIOS and fixing it all up later.

However, I start the PC now it's all working well and when it comes time to hit 'delete' to enter the BIOS, it does nothing and goes straight onto the screen for 'no bootable device'.

Usually, the motherboards UI would pop up with an option to click to get into the BIOS but that does not come up at all.

What do I do guys?

As everyone is saying. Clear the Cmos. If you can't enter the Bios, I would suggest trying another keyboard etc. Usually USB keyboards work, but I know a few that don't want to co-operate with booting up.

Thanks guys, sorry for the late response as I had to go run some last minute errands.

I ended up swapping the SATA ports around multiple times until i got it working. The usual MOBO UI did not show either, so I will definitely be clearing the CMOS later tonight as you guys mentioned.

Update: I cleared the CMOS and reset the settings to default and now the BIOS UI shows up as it's meant to.

Thanks guys, thread may be closed.
