I have a EVGA 780Ti and i just installed it into my PC. i loaded up far cry 3 and put the settings on high and ultra, but the graphics sucked. i installed all the newest drivers for the card and made sure that it was recognized in the bios. when the computer it on the cards fans go on but thats it, the EVGA 780Ti part doesn't even light up. any suggestions?

Did you plug the 6/8 pin connectors into the GPU? Did you plug your Video cable that goes to your monitor into your graphics card?

That makes no sense...  The graphics are the same no matter what video card you are using as long as the settings are the same, the only thing a better video card does is raise frame rates, making higher settings more playable.

First of all, you need to quote people when responding to them so they know you responded.

 

Second, could you post some screen shots in game?  Also if you have an old graphics card or if your CPU has an iGPU try that and see if the issue persists.

Was it the graphics that sucked or the framerate that sucked?  If it was the graphics itself, could you go into more detail?
