Is the 750ti/750 compatible with my PC?

I have a Small Form Factor Optiplex 980, it was a gift from my parents a few years ago, i only have about 120 bucks and it's impossible for me to save more money (i'd love to build a PC from the start but it way out of my reach with my salary) so i heard about the 750ti/750 being really good to use as an upgrade path for these kind of PCs but i'm not sure if it will really fit in the motherboard or the case.

Besides it fitting i want to know your opinions on whether i should wait for some offer that might drop the 750ti to 120 or just go with the 750, also maybe waiting for something better than the current "150 dollar value on f2p games" of which i only play path of exile.

EDIT: Also, i have a 1440x900 monitor, also, sorry if i might posted it in the wrong part of the forums

Your probably going to have yo go with a half height card like the galaxy 750ti of the Zotac 750, but yes its possible.

But one thing you have to be careful about when putting a discreet GPU in a prebuilt is the power supply. As most cheapo power supplies that come with these computers normally don't actual produce the wattage they advertise so you'll have to make sure you have plenty of watts left over.

From Dell datasheet these Optiplex got a 235 up to 305w 80+ Gold PSU so a GTX 750 can be handed by your system, so i will suggest an Asus GTX 750 to play path of exile on your actual monitor.
