Looking for headphones suitable for bike rides

Marco2G

Hello everyone

Since my Sennheiser OMX 680i Sports are starting to die on me, do you know of any good headphones that aren't all that bothered by things like sweat or light rain? Also, since I use them for my commute, I would prefer if they did not impede outside noise too much. So non-'mushroom' in-ear headphones would be appreciated.

Also, I'd like a remote that is usable under android. The Sennheisers allowed me to skip forward and back and play and pause, but I couldn't change volume. Is there a product that manages that, too? Would a bluetooth headset come with a more usable remote?

Thanks

At 150€, I'd like to get a fifty percent share in the company ;).

Whelp, I expected that this was going to be expensive. Thanks for the link.

Whelp, I bought them. Frankly, I'm not impressed. Even sitting at the computer, they'll slip out of my ears after a few minutes. I can't imagine that they'll hold any better when I'm on a bike.

Seriously, isn't there any product that is not in-ear? In-ear just sucks balls for me (unfortunately not mine... that would be a pro argument).

I use these, but I take off the silicon tips to improve awareness. If you're riding around you should be aware of your surroundings for your own and other's safety. Doing that does take a hit to sound quality, but I tend to listen to podcasts when on my bike so SQ isn't the highest of concerns, but my own person safety is. I also use my Koss Porta Pros when it's nice out. I'm pretty sure the M6 from MEElectronics comes with a controller for a bit more.
