I need help with a$3000 build (Please advice)

Daniel91

One of my friend's dad won big in the world cup betting on Germany so his dad gave him SGD$3000 to build his Dream PC.

He intends to do Video editing and gaming and he wants to be able to play Wii. Xbox and PS games on it i've never built one of that kind so it's a first time for me. Any advice on what parts/software i should use please?

He already purchased a GTX 780 6GB (from MSI)

I was wondering should i get him a Asus TUF series board seeing he does alot of high res rendering for his uni course

Please note he's using cuda for his rendering and editing, he already has the editing software , please advice thank you

If he need those cuda core then wouldnt it be better to get the Titan Black? Either way since he already bought it...

He could go with another 780 6GB for 2 ways SLI, but I'm not sure how the price in Singapore will go up due to taxes and all, so I keep it down.

do you think 8GB ram will be enough for his rendering? or should i add more, i think we can afford another 780 6gb seeing your total build is only about SGD$1900 ++

really? I though that the price in Singapore will go up alot more since the price here in Thai is like that... I should buy a ticket to Singapore next time I'm upgrading my computer then :P

And about the ram, sorry but I kinda forgot about the Ram since I'm taking one of my old build and modified it, 16GB will definitely benefited him much better,so grab one 2x8GB ram. And if you can get another 780 6GB then it's perfect, The PSU I choose there can support 2 GPU without any problem.
