So i have in my old rig a nvidia geforce 6200 le and my friend wanted to sell me a Ati Radeon 3600 for 5 bucks.

So is it worth it?

Specs:

Intel Pentium 4 524 aka Hottest Core on the planet,1gb of ddr ram.

And a old nvidia geforce 6200 le with 450w psu.

No. Well, yes. It's a big upgrade from your Geforce 6200 LE, but in all honesty it wouldn't make a difference unless you're playing really old games (2009 or older).

Rig: Intel Core i7-2600 / Sapphire R9 280X Dual-X / 2 x 8 GB DDR3-1600 / Seagate Hybrid SSHD 2 TB / FSP500-60APN 500W / 3x 20" 1600x900 LED / 51" Samsung F5000 plasma / Acer K330 LED projector
15.6" Clevo W650SJ: Intel Core i7-4810MQ / Geforce GTX 850M / 1 x 8 GB DDR3-1600 / Hitachi 1 TB 7200 rpm
14" Lenovo Y460: Intel Core i5-520M / Mobility Radeon HD 5650 / 2 x 4 GB DDR3-1333 / Hitachi 500 GB 5400 rpm

VMaxMuffin

About 9 years .

it's 5 bucks... use your old one as a coaster :P

also, go @ before someone's username to actually notify them.

eg: @TheEatenCookie

Edit: actually don't, there's no point unless you actually plan to use it. but...if you do plan to use it, then just get it, once again, it's 5 bucks...

Home is where the heart my desktop is.

Mhhm... 5 bucks... dunno never dealt with such a low budget hrhr ;) .

I'd save every buck I think to save money for a new rig if I were you, because from a gaming perspective this upgrade is pretty pointless.
