Just gaming? Go ahead and get the Xeon E3-1231 v3. Not many people know about Xeon's but you save on the cost about $50 since the only difference from a standard 4790(non K) is integrated graphics are not included. I would go with the ASUS Z97-A because even though you may think you don't care about having a silent PC, when you do you'll never want to go back. Fan Xpert IS worth it. Go with the Phanteks Enthoo Pro instead, should be back in stock soon. Only get these things if they are available to you for a good cost.

I think i'll go with the xeon like you said. It's cheaper and it has the same power

But im not going to overclock the cpu mayby the gpu but not the cpu

At first I was never going to overclock the CPU but down the road I decided too. Maybe you're different but never hurts to be prepared and not have to buy an unlocked CPU.

Drop down to i5 and maybe cheaper mobo and get ssd. that'll give u more benefit overall than an i7 if you're only using it for gaming.

Not only gaming maybe also a little video editing and movies or for school projects. But gaming is the general thing i will do with it

there are a couple used ones on amazon for about $275 but i think 200-220 would be more like it depending on how old and if it is still under warranty

corsair 600t, msi z87-g45, intel 4770k, 16g patriot viper low-pro ram, asus direct cu2 780, crucial 256gig ssd, seagate baracuda 1tb,

It's not under warranty. And it's a little bit old. But it is never overclocked. And I have all the original packaging

if it isnt under warranty your probably going to heavily discount it to try and catch someone who is willing to take a chance... or your going to have to find someone who you know who would trust you enough to pay up
