Was rooting for Argentina through and through and was hoping that it would be an entertaining match with them facing Germany and both sides failed to deliver IMO the match was boring and it was a crappy end to the world cup.

I was rooting for Germany most of the way, even though I know bugger all about football. I expected the outcome.

It really wasn't though. The way Germany rumbled through every other team, shows that Argentina was definetely deserving of a spot in the finals.

The best teams in the tournament, and Germany were the best overall. Messi choked on the biggest stage, and Gotze became a national hero. Feel sorry for schweinsteiger, getting beaten up all night, and for Kramer, getting clattered out in the first few minutes of the game. Argentina I feel did not deserve it on the night, as they were not as clinical as they should have been considering the opportunities, and were very dirty, fouling a lot throughout the match.

Argentina fouling i'd say Germany were being assholes in that regard and they got away with a lot more then they should of

Did you see Schweinsteigers cut? Did you see the Mascherano tackle just a minute before that? How about the Kramer foul in the first 20 minutes? I didn't see Germany go out there fouling Argentinian players with malice. Sure there were fouls by Germany, but none as bad as the Argentina ones by a long way.
