Qualcomm Atheros Killer E2201 vs normal Intel LAN?

The board I'm looking at has the Killer ethernet instead of the Intel that I see in most boards. I know the intel is tried and true, but I'm not sure how the killer fares. Anyone want to sine some light on the differences if there are any? Good and bad?

It's just a gimmick. Don't bother spending the extra money on something you don't need.

 

It's not extra. It just happens to be on the board that I wanted, so I'm asking if it is just as good as the intel.
