Looking for opinions on the Asus K200MA

Lately I've been using an older Campaq Presario laptop. This computer is in need of an upgrade... It gets extremely hot, even when propped up, is very slow, and has multiple performance issues. I was looking on the Asus website today and found this: The K200MA, a 11.6in, touch screen, Windows 8.1 laptop. Before I pull the trigger I'm looking for some opinions/ knowledge on this... This laptop would be used for web browsing, email, and apps in the Microsoft App store. As far as software I would likely install (If possible) Norton or AVG anti-virus, Google Sketchup, Google Earth, Chrome, iTunes, etc. All the normal stuff. Now, I do have some questions:

 

-It comes with a 500GB 5400RPM HDD. Is this upgradeable to a SSD?

-If you own one, or have access to one, please leave your feelings on it below.

-It comes with 4GB of DDR3 RAM. Is this upgradeable? How many slots does it have?

-If you use Windows 8, particularly on a touchscreen, can you please tell me a bit about the OS compared to Windows 7?

-I'd like to have around 2+ hours of battery life when I'm web browsing.
