I did this and I still have that theme running in one of my computers. It has XP and I gave it a Windows 7 Theme :)

i just want to put a cool theme but something cross my mind. Is it safe using third party themer like uxtheme or some sort of that ??? iam affaid if iam going to ruin my laptop... btw iam on windows 8

Third party Windows theme? Go for it, just make sure you back things up in case you break something.

Twice, worked perfectly fine for me. I did this a while ago so I do not remember the steps at alllllllll. But if you follow a guide it should be easy peasy.
