I have the same and it also asks which account since I have 2 and it linked to another g+ and another account they screwed it up.

I don't want any of that! Youtube is not a social network, google should stop trying to make that happen. It's BS! And i want to comment, how can i surpass that? i don#t want to go through -getting a G+ account- commenting,deleting G+ account over and over again.

Only way to do it is to setup a g+ and connect it to your youtube acc

I am subscribed with my youtube account but i am not with my fancy dancy Google/*to-be*google+ account, which is why it shows as not subscribed. I hate youtube, i don't want stupid G+! We should all move to vimeo!

Lol, fixed it. It just required to click at the top right where your account is and switch back to my original Youtube account. Phew! I almost fell for it! Well played! Not this time Youtube!

Even if you have to make a G+ account, just un-check "share on google plus" and you will never know that it exists, I have a G+ account but have never even been on the page and never see popups/emails about it. It really isn't that bad

I know. I used to have a G+ account because i accidentally fell for an earlier version of this intrigue. But i got some mails here and there and it's just annoying. Google should make G+ more awesome instead of forcing it on everybodies ass.
