it was as cheap as i could get it if you cant afford the extra costs either get a free os like linux or change the 280 to a 270x

Can you please link to an overclocking guide as I am new to building comps.

don't know any guides but what you do in short is up the memory clock by around 20mhz~ benchmark it if it crashes up the voltage etc etc repeat over and over you can also copy some results from here
