So straight to it i have a thermaltake smart 550, fx8350(stock speed), gtx 760 sc, and adata xpg v2 ram... i really would like to overclock and for that i know i need a new psu but my nvidia display driver really loves to crash... like alot.. i have the newest driver and it crashes 3/4 times when i launch watch dogs or evga oc scanner x type application. the real intense stuff. itll do it even when launching an older game like need for speed shift, but not as much... is this an issue with my power supply already being to close to not enough?

550W should be more than enough to run your setup even with an overclock.

Current rig: CPU: AMD FX-8120  Cooling: Corsair H100i  Mobo: ASRock 970 Extreme 3  RAM: 8GB 1333Mhz  GPU: MSI GTX 660Ti Power Edition  Case: Fractal Design Define R4  Storage: 2TB Seagate HDD + 128GB Crucial SSD  PSU: be quiet! 730W bronze

thanks guys! however, i actually am less sure now because after some more research the gpu boost 2.0 tells the mem and gpu core speed to fluxate which can cause poor performance especially when a computer goes from low intensity programs, like the desktop, to a very intense program and the gpu cant always compensate especially with an overclock aperantly... so theres a setting to lock the frequencies... we'll see if the problem reappears
