Windows 8.1 Not Working Properly

SaulTheNewGuy

My windows 8 is not working properly the Tiles in the start are not showing up and the settings are also not working. This all started when I installed Razer Game Boost and boosted it up, but when I restarted my computer the tiles weren't showing or working. Also when I go to "All Apps" nothing shows up although I know I have some. Can somebody please help me.

*UPDATE*

I changed something in the game booster that i did not know what it was. (Yes I am the dumb one for touching something I did not know about.)

Seems like you answered your own problem. Uninstall Razer Game Boost and check the results.

P.S Its not an "Original" Windows 8.1

You should have kept this detail for yourself...

try booting into safe mode, uninstall razer game boost and see if it works now.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

Buy an original Windows 8.1 Pro. It doesn't cost much.

I have uninstalled it now but nothing has changed and I can't get windows 8.1 because the Microsoft Store App keeps closing itself every time it opens.

Try doing a system restore before you installed that software! :)

Not that I know of, I had this computer since '08, I would upgrade if I had the money.
