3930k vs 3770k in 3ds max rendering. What to choose?

Hello guys! Help me to choose between 3930k and 3770k. Currently I'm using old Core 2 Quad and it's really time to upgrade.

Is it worth having x79 and all its components (quad channel ram, 6 cores) ? I read that difference in 3ds max rendering is just 10-15%. Couple minutes more or less - it doesn't inspire me to spend that money on 6 cores.

and another question: quad channel memory is good for renering? or difference is not noticeable at all?

And of course i'm going to overclock CPU to 4,5 (at least).

I'd like to hear reviews from people who really tested 3ds max rendering with both CPUs and can tell me real info, not opinions or guesses.

4930K won't be out for a long ass time and the 3930K and 4770K aren't that far from eachother i guess
