How to install IO Shield?

Having trouble, I don't know which way it goes. One has the labeling on it and the other side doesn't. I know the audio ports go on the bottom, just don't know the direction. Maximus VII Hero. 750D.

The labeled or coloured side goes on the outside of the case. The blank side points inside the case.

Labeling on the outside, the mirror finish should be on the outside, padded on the inside.

You also put it in throught the inside of the case and push it in until it clicks in

I tend to do it where I see the audio out at the bottom of the case.

If you haven't installed anything yet, test I/O shield against mobo. That way you can tell for sure. Then align it to its place and push from inside.

Align your mobo with the IO shield before fitting into the case, that way you will know how to the shield rotate properly, then simply snap it until it clicks (do this inside the case)

Just watch youtube videos (building a pc from linus, paul hardware, tek syndicate) if you are still having a trouble.

First you install IO shield and then put the mobo in your case at an angle to fit into the IO shield and then lay it down matching the holes on the mobo with pins in the case.
