Whenever I have certain programs opened my computer makes a weird sort of electrical beeping noise. I have experienced it when I have things like Skype or Origin opened. If you need a recording of the sound in order for you to help me let me know and ill record it. Thanks for your help in advance.

Is the sound coming from the actual computer (like from inside the case), or is it coming from speakers/headphones?

Its from the computer.

Unless there is something wrong power wise I can only imagine that to possibly be the HDD spinning up or a fan speed increasing. Is it all possible that you can try to target where the sound is coming from?

Trying to target the area where it is coming from I am thinking it is either the CPU or RAM.

That is not at all what I was expecting, usually the PSU emits a hf hum if there is something wrong I'v never heard of a component doing it, well if you think its the ram, remove all modules but one and see if the problem is cleared if not try all the modules and if the problem is still there I would recommend testing a nother PSU in it.

I don't think it's the PSU as I just recently upgraded it and the noise was there before changing the PSU.

Alright, begin swapping the memory around if you believe that to be it, and as I think it is also possible that the sound is coming from the motherboard.

if you have replaced your PSU

check all power connections and see if any connectors are loose

I would imagine it's the hard drive, but their could also be coil whine coming from your motherboard or other components (like your video card or PSU)
