I have just reassembled my pc after about a week of painting (I had paint problems...) and was welcomed back with it freezing at boot, a few more tries booting and it always freezes (Screen won't update) within around 10 minutes in.  the only things I changed from my previous are switching sata ports for my hdd (i switched back- nothing happened), removing my dvd drive, and flipping my psu.  a few things to clarify: heat is not the issue- it crashes too fast for it to be,  there's still plenty of air to the psu, I've tried refreshing the pc and it froze during the process... twice.  the crashing is completely random- if i leave it a boot its bound to freeze at some point

Can you open device manager before all hell breaks loose?

Are you running an ssd or standard disk?

ok, i got one of the more relevant seeming ones which said "the following boot-start failed to load: dam"  also it's been going strong for the last 20 minutes or so so thing's are looking as they may have fixed themselves though im not too optomistic...
