What's after socket 2011?

Sorry I'm unfamiliar with the 7xx, 1366 and 2011 sockets.... Are they still going to make more 2011 cpu's, or is there something after that?

 

Also I might as well ask what the main purpose of 2011 is. If I care a lot about overclocking, gaming and heavy workloads is 2011 for me or should I stick with the consumer 1155/1150?

if you dont know what it is, you dont need it ;) 

 

 

its a highend socket for workstations, poweruse, stuff like that. and the next iteration is 2011-3, same number of pins different electrically

No but actually serious: 2011 will last until 2015-2016, then we don't know what comes next.
