You can on some, apparently, but the Z97 boards are designed for OCing and will yield better OC results. 

 

I would go for one of these:

Main reason being; if you ever decide to run 2 R9-280 graphics cards (or any 2 GPUs) later on, you'll have the ideal setup with two PCIe slots at 8x instead of one at 16x and one at only 4x.

 

They're also better/nicer boards overall with more features for little extra cost.

Use the bbcode export instead of markdown for pcpartpicker when linking your build. You could alternatively just use the permalink.
