Hello great people of the awesome interwebz,

not long ago i finished my personal build and i noticed something strange.

After i hit the power button on the front, the pc powers on, immediately switches back off and than it boots like normal, do i have a problem here or can this be adressed by a quick bios update ? (I own a Maximus VI formula by asus and i am using not the latest bios but the one before the devils canyon cpu support (i am using a 4770K)). I unplug the pc every evenig after shutdown (if that´s important)

I am really looking forward to seeing your answers. A big "thanks" right away, greetings from Germany

Have a good one :D

Check all your connections, PCI-E, PCI, Sata, Power, RAM and any USB devices that are plugged in and make sure they're seated properly.

Try turning fastboot on in Bios, this will likely skip over POST which is probably what is causing it to reboot in the first place.

you can update your Bios as well if you'd like. Bios Update and Updater Here.

Goodluck
