Try switch the SSD to an intel sata port (even if it's SATA II) and retry the software. I've had a lot of mates have the same problem with data migration software.

I went over to check what was wrong and the only thing that would make it work on all of them was to switch the SSD to an Intel controlled SATA port, most of em had it on a Marvell controller.

When they would try to boot it would say the drive was missing the boot manager(BOOTMGR)

Good luck, hope you find a solution.

Sorry if it doesn't work for you

I would probably rather go with a fresh install, you can always migrate your data later

it boots like 1-2 ms on the windows logo and restarts, and loops over and over

Well than grab a windows installation disk/usb stick and try the auto repair.

It sounds like the SSD is booting..but there may be issues with your new setup in Windows 7..restart and enter the BIOS..turn off any splash screens and save-reboot..when the system has finished the post..you should hear a single beep ..hit your F5 key..this should bring you to the Windows 7 diagnoses screen..advanced option will bring you to an entry titled safe mode..hit that entry and WAIT until you see your desktop..it will have a black background and "safemode" splashed on the screen..If all this works than the OS is hanging up on a driver or a conflicting registry entry. Let us know how you make out..

Your best effort is the easiest thing to give to someone else..

Your MBR also might be the problem. If thats the case I recommend you download UltimateBootCD http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ and repair your MBR. All you have to do is burn that iso to a CD and boot with it, then navigate to the MBR repair tool. But first try the solutions posted above!

I haven't read the other posts, but I would just go for a fresh install. When migrating an OS, many of the important files to the OS could be corrupted. Just try and reinstall.
