Will it support the headphones as well as a dedicated soundcard? The reviews I watched suggested that you need one.

you almost never need a sound card just get a dac

lol i think they hate me there. I mention I was getting Razer headphones when I asked about a soundcard. They wouldn't let it go. :( Audiophiles can be annoying. :)

well if your using the razer stuff they can run off and xbox so i'm 99.9999999% sure you don't need a dac or sound card

alright if your asking about the razer headphones they can run off a xbox and the xbox has shitty sound so i'm sure you don't need a sound card or dac

The Tiamats  are for PC. They don't work on Xbox.

nope they are my idiot friend uses then for his 360

Is there any advantage to getting a dac over a sound card?

sound cards are just becoming more and more useless dac are good for dealing with headphones with a high ome rating
