I Remember like 10 years ago you could go into stores like best buy and find anything from video cards to motherboards And in my area there use to be a trade show every month for computer parts and games what happen I know Newegg and amazon are part to blame because they have lower prices because they cut the middle man out I just miss being able to window shop if I wanted to the nearest microcenter is like a hour away to

I totally remember the computer trade shows. There hasn't been one around where I live in over 5 years. My family has actually had most of our former desktops built from the small companies that went to these shows.

I like lower prices. Also like not being bothered by shop owners who don't know a thing themselves, trying to sell me junk. I'm good with how things are right now. Besides, you're going to find much more information on any product on the web rather than seeing just a box.

Here it has went from smaller shops being best choise if you want to get custom to couple big ones taking markets over with really big selection. One of them have had to move twice for bigger warehouse.
