My motherboard (p9x79-e ws) doesn't have enough of the 9 pin usb headers to connect all of my devices. I would like to add a internal flash card reader, but have no where to connect it. As far as I understand each of those headers is designed to power one device only. If that's true then how can I add more to the board?

Maybe I could try to find some sort of adapter that will let me connect it to the use 2.0/3.0 ports.

I just got that NZXT USB adapter PCB myself. The build quality is pretty mediocre with glue all over the bottom and the velcro not stocking despite the glue, but the PCB itself is pretty great.

Contact a customer service rep and see if they have plans to restock it anytime soon.
