Good Laptops under $600?

1823alex

So you may have seen my Chromebook post earlier and I just found out I have a bit more money to spend on a laptop. I'm willing to spend $600 but if there is a better one for $50-75 more then I would go for best performance within budget.

What I NEED in a laptop

  • A good CPU preferably an i5 or an A8, or A10 (No i3, A4, A6)
  • A good display
  • At least 2 USB ports

What I'd LIKE in a laptop

  • Backlit keyboard
  • Touch Screen Display
  • SD Card Reader

What I'm gonna USE this laptop for

  • Surfing the web (watching youtube being on here etc.)
  • School (Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.)
  • Streaming YouTube, Netflix and Hulu
  • Using TeamViewer to connect to other computers in the house
  • Light Gaming (Goat Simulator, Flash Games)
  • Simple photo editing

I've really been interested in the laptops that have a detachable keyboard and then turn into a tablet, however I'm still fine with getting a regular laptop.

What I've had my eyes on:

Those are my top laptops so far. I'm just not sure which one is best for what I'm doing or if there's maybe something better for what I'm doing.

All help is appreciated. Thank You
